Fest gets into high gear with more films and music

The 2008 New Orleans International Human Rights Film Festival is getting ready to release its 2008 Film schedule. This year will be the biggest year yet with more New Orleans and international films than ever before. There are also going to be a number of music and dance performances as well as grassroots panels and Q & A with directors. Academy Award winning director, Jonathan Demme will intorduce his latest film, "Right to Return: New Home Movies from the Lower Ninth Ward" on April 9th. He is planning to hold a panel with residents from the lower 9th and be available for Q & A after the screening of his film.
